G’Day UAE to launch in Abu Dhabi this December

The inaugural programme opens the week of 7 December 2026, alongside Abu Dhabi Finance Week and the Culture Summit Abu Dhabi.

G’Day UAE will launch in Abu Dhabi in the week of 7 December 2026. The timing places the programme alongside Abu Dhabi Finance Week (7–10 December) and the Culture Summit Abu Dhabi (8–10 December), when many of the region’s decision-makers are already in the city.

The launch brings together Australian and Emirati leaders across government, business, culture and sport. It is delivered in partnership with the Australian Government, through DFAT and the Australian Embassy in the UAE, working with the UAE Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

What to expect

The week centres on the G’Day UAE Gala, an evening built on the culture, sport and hospitality the two countries already share. Industry Dialogues will follow through 2027, each timed to a major event on the UAE calendar.

The same greeting, for a prime minister or a stranger. That’s the spirit we want to bring to Abu Dhabi.
